About Crisis Management

Can your company handle a crisis?

All companies ought to have a crisis management plan in order to deal with an acute emergency or crisis.

Scenarios include a natural disaster, a fire, sabotage, terrorism, civil war, kidnapping of employees, or another serious event that would disrupt the company’s normal operations. A thoroughly prepared crisis management plan can save lives and may also save a company a considerable sum of money. Companies with subsidiaries abroad have a particular need for contingency planning.

Crisis management planning

SHIELD provides assistance when a company initiates its planning process, and produces specific disaster, evacuation and contingency plans appropriate to the company’s needs. Planning and implementation is carried out in close cooperation with senior management. Crisis management plans should be exercised at least one time each year.
