Presentation for the Business Council in Dubai

The Danish Business Council in Dubai is very pleased to welcome Jesper Lundsgaard, who is the Founder of SHIELD and owner of Shield Risk Consulting (SHIELD Europe). Shield is a security company involved in risk management and security services. Mr. Lundsgaard will be honoring us with his presence on Wednesday, November 21st. 2007, to give a presentation on:

Subject: Risk management and how to handle security in a turbulent region: The Middle East is one of the most turbulent regions in the world where religious diversity, concentration of power, wealth being divided very uneavenly. Internationally certain parts of the Middle East are being classified as politically unstable. And terrorism is a tool, which is used more frequently here compared to other places in the world.

At the same time it is one of the fastest growing regions in the world and it controlls around 50% of all the worlds known energy reserves. Likewise the region is facing a period with two-digit growth, and more and more companies are turning their focus towards this region.

Jesper Lundsgaard will address some of the issues related to risk assesment and security aspects when doing business in the Middle East especially UAE, Saudi Arabia and Iraq.

The cost will be AED 250 per person for members and AED 300 for non-members and will include tea/coffee/snaks during the meeting.
