SHIELD CrossLock LLC is a U.S. registered company from Fort Worth-Dallas, Texas, formerly SHIELD, was founded in 1998 by a group of retiring U.S. and UN officers from the Coalition Forces from the 1991 Gulf War.
They recognized the continuing need for the presence security service contractors throughout the Gulf Region and the growing need for an experienced multi-national workforce to respond to the threat of global terrorism etc. To meet this challenge, SHIELD has assembled a world-class management team consisting of experts in international security operations, security training and education, finance, security system design and engineering and logistics support operations. These experts are thoroughly familiar with critical infrastructure protection (including nuclear), air and seaport (maritime) protective operations, communication and IT-security, counter-terrorism, close and force protection, travel security and safety and humanitarian operations and support etc. SHIELD has today offices/representation all over the world. In December 2006, SHIELD Risk Consulting (SHIELD Europe) a EU registered company, and SHIELD CrossLock LLC (SHIELD USA) merged their respective legacies, resources and recruiting capabilities. SHIELD's International head office, located in Europe, remain in place to accommodate the needs of the European market and the Middle East/North African region. SHIELD is expanding both its presence and services in the U.S. opening additional offices in Texas, Virginia, New York, Pennsylvania and Florida and globally through exclusive Associate Partnership agreements with Veterans of all services and capable small companies providing security mitigation products and other support services.
